Jamal Burke grew up in the Jamaica Plain/Roxbury area of Massachusetts during a time which these neighborhoods were notorious for illicit drug activity, crime and violence. From an early age, he knew that this was not the path he wanted to follow so he turned to his love of sports as an avenue of guidance.
His journey began at Brockton High as a three sport standout, and took him all the way to making his dreams come true as a NFL player. Although his journey is far from over, Jamal loves to share the lessons he has learned thus far.
